On the 8th November 2010, in the wake of Burma’s first election in 22 years, fighting broke out in Myawaddy on the Thailand-Burma border. As a result an estimated 20,000 civilians fled Burma and while many have returned, some remain reluctant. Why? The reasons would seem to be pretty bloody obvious…
